ABOUT BYNG PUBLIC SCHOOLS
1925
Byng Public Schools was founded in the fall of 1925 by forward thinking citizens who saw the value in having a school in the Byng community. Tyrola and New Bethel consolidated, and Byng had its first graduates in the Spring of 1925.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Grade Levels: Pre-Kindergarten (Age 4) through 12th Grade
Mission: To prepare each student for the demands of tomorrow by providing them with the best, most appropriate education today.
Location: The Byng School district wraps around the city of Ada from the northwest to the southeast. We have three school sites located throughout our school district.

8:15 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
Early Arrival
Early drop-off begins at 7:15 a.m.
After School & Extended Day
Available until 5:30 p.m. (limited spots available)
SCHOOL SITE INFORMATION
Francis Elementary: PreK – 3rd Grade
Homer Elementary: PreK – 3rd Grade
Byng Elementary: 4th – 6th Grade
Byng Junior High: 7th – 9th Grade
Byng High School: 10th – 12th Grade
CAMPUS FEATURES
The main Byng campus sits on over 100 acres. Since our successful bond issue in the Spring of 2024, we are in the process of constructing a new site wide safe room, band facility, weight room, agriculture education building, and a new tennis, track, and soccer complex.
Francis School is located between Byng and Francis and consists of a 20 acres campus with its own cafeteria, auditorium, and safe room.
Homer School is located on the east side of Ada and is a 60 acre campus that has its own cafeteria, safe shelter, and gymnasium.
